Innovation – Indago

Indago works on the design of an innovative a system for the assessment and monitoring of human rights respect by business enterprises.

This system is based on the framework set out by the United Nations Principles on Business and Human Rights (Ruggie Principles), and interprets them in the light of international human rights law.

The results of this international research project will be put at disposal of the following actors:

Public institutions that want to apply the system in their procedures of public procurement and funding and promotion of business activities.

Business enterprises that wish to improve their human rights performance.

Consumers and users who are interested in understanding the conditions in which the products and services they consume are made and how the companies providing them behave.
